Extended School Year 2014
The American School for the Deaf (ASD) is pleased to announce its Extended School Year (ESY) Programs. ESY is approved by the Connecticut Department of Education. ESY are services provided beyond the length of the regular school year.
Eligibility for ESY must be determined each year for individual students at their annual PPT. If the PPT determines your child qualifies for ESY, your school district assumes the financial responsibility for the summer program. All programs incorporate literacy and math skills into their daily instruction to prevent regression.
ASD provides two options depending on the age of your child.
